Quality Engineer

Your future role


As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our chocolate products by monitoring and strengthening our quality system, as well as investigating any non-conformities. You will report to both the Quality Control Manager and the Quality Assurance Manager.


In this role, you will be assigned the following tasks:


  • You will be responsible for investigating and following up on all customer complaints and internal non-conformities.
  • You will create and update documentation such as quality procedures, HACCP flows, risk analyses (lines and ingredients), glass breakage procedures, and production checklists.
  • You will support the analysis of rejects.
  • You will act as a support and back-up for the quality team.
  • You will organize and monitor factory walkthroughs to verify the application of GMP.
  • You will provide support on supply base activities by validating and collecting data on new regulations, collections, and/or pralines.
  • You will improve documentation practices in production (production audits).
  • You will act as an internal auditor and participate in certification audits (ACS, Halal, FCA, FSSC22000).
  • You will participate in various quality projects such as allergen management, new equipment implementation, and specific customer requests.



The profile we are looking for:


  • You are graduated in Biochemistry / food science or related.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience as Junior Quality Engineer.
  • You are comfortable working alternately in different production shifts (morning shift/day shift).


  • You have a good knowledge of food safety (GMP) and HACCP.
  • Basic knowledge of microbiology would be a plus.
  • You are proficient with MS Office and data management
  • You have a good knowledge of French & English.


  • You have strong communication skills and can collaborate successfully with various departments (production, supply chain, maintenance etc.).
  • You are hands-on and analytical.
  • You are solution-oriented and proactive.
  • You have strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • You are able to work autonomously.
